I associate them with good memories from the past and it brings me joy. However, people nowadays want everything on demand.

I came to a weird realisation that my kids do not recognise some of the iconic sounds of the street food vendors.

I notice that they are no longer roaming constantly. When I really miss them, I will look for them at their spot.

I like the feeling that they create in my neighbourhood. It reminds me of my childhood where people interact with one another.

I feel the need to have them around, actually. I live in a suburb, and GoFood or GrabFood don’t offer me that much of an option.

I will miss them a lot, but I do realise that it is very likely that they will be gone soon. Perhaps they might be changing to a different business model.
